The wind turbine hub height is the rotor's height above ground. Hub heights typically range between 25m (for smaller wind turbines, 50 kW or less) and 100m (for large, multi-megawatt wind turbines). Wind speeds tend to increase with height above ground, so if the hub turbine is not the same as the anemometer height, HOMER adjusts the wind speed data accordingly.
